about me

Hi, I’m Sarah

I’m one of those people who has always seen life as full of opportunities.
As a small girl I used to love to carefully gift wrap oranges to hand out to people when they were sick, like they were the most precious gift.

This kind of insight has affected my life in profound ways, that at times I didn’t expect.

When I first started practising physiotherapy it had not occurred to me that the body could be a gateway for deep spiritual transformation and emotional healing. Working with athletes, and in hospitals and rehabilitation centres, I had previously seen serious injuries as something that would be “hard to get over”.

However when I started having my own injuries, illnesses and health challenges, things changed a lot. I began studying meditation, yoga and NLP, and something miraculous happened. I began to see the gift in the wisdom of our bodies. Rather than seeing just the pain and physical limitation I began to see the opportunity to move through these challenges, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

It was profound, and again like the 7 year old version of me seeing the orange as a gift, I began to see the experience pain and injury bring as an opportunity for spiritual growth and personal transformation.

I’m really grateful that I’ve had these experiences myself, as dealing with pain and discomfort is not easy, so I really have compassion for that. But I know from my own experiences, and working with thousands of others now, that it can serve us and there is a way through it.

The unique training I have allows me to tune into each person individually and see what they need. I love supporting one to one clients where I can hold space for them to unpack their pain and be in a supportive environment to heal and learn from their body’s messages. The group classes I offer also feature my personal blend of physiotherapy and yoga.

My passion for education has meant that I’ve been able to share my wisdom through teaching thousands of people around the world at events, workshops and through the courses I create and teach.

If you are experiencing pain or physical limitation I invite you to look at your body in a whole new way, and embark on your personal healing journey.

Speaking, Presenting and Writing Engagements

Would you like a guest speaker at a wellness festival, training event or even a corporate wellness day?
My years of experience teaching at University level and training other physiotherapists combined with my yoga studies and own experiences means I have a wealth of knowledge to share and the skills to do so. Honestly, I’ve heard “I wish I had seen a Physio who could teach me even half of what you have, back when I needed the help… “ so many times... Hence I am only too happy to share the word of “what I now know is possible” around!

Please get in touch with me to see how we can work together to shine light on other peoples health journeys.

"The pain that you hold is yours. There is not a single pain quite like it. Nobody else on God's green earth can feel this pain, or have the indescribable feeling of pride you will have when you overcome it. This pain is not your curse; this pain is your privilege.” ~ Arnold Schwarzenegger
